Part of Jasper Morrison's Glo-Ball Series, the Glo-Ball Basic was designed in 1998.
The Glo-Ball Basic table lamp has a white acid-etched blown glass diffuser. The glass body is 30% fiberglass reinforced with an injection-molded polyamide (UL-94 V2) base. The die-cast aluminum diffuser support is painted gray. The polarized power cord comes with a 0-100% dimmer.
This contemporary lighting emits diffused light and comes in two models (sizes):
- Glo-Ball Basic 1 (4.33"x10.62"x12.99")
- Glo-Ball Basic 2 (5.70"x14.17"x17.71")
Inspiration Behind the Design:
The decorative lamp designed by Jasper Morrison is made to resemble the glow of a full moon on a clear night.
